In 1859 a group of German Immigrant families living in the Manchester area acted on their desire to form a Protestant Church. Initially the group identified itself as Immanuel Church, and services were held in members homes.
Throughout the years there have been name changes that have led to the current Emanuel United Church of Christ. But one thinng that will never change is the devotion of Emanuel’s members to God and the Manchester Community. We thank you for taking the time to read this and hope to see you on Sunday.
